Every now and again there are things in our life that bring us down. It can be anything from a stubbed toe, to a busted pipe under your house. I am a firm believer that when bad things happen, it is okay to take your time to be sad or upset. Everyone deserves that chance to cope and wallow and say woe is me. But once you’ve sufficiently gotten it out of your system, it’s time to start picking yourself up, dusting yourself off, and getting a move on. That’s the hardest part. It’s so easy to get sucked into the wallow, and sometimes we can’t figure out how to get back up. So that’s what today’s post is about. Just a couple of inspirational things to help get you back on the right track.

kind of thinking about getting this for my husband..

sometimes that’s all anyone can ask of us. and the best we can do.

wise words

So there you have it. I hope that helps any of you going through a rough patch right now. And if you aren’t going through one now, bookmark this page and hit it up next time you’re feeling down. Or next time you are ready to pick yourself up and start over. It always makes me feel better to read through things like this to see how many wise and intelligent souls there are out there. It’s not just the words on the paper, either, but the way they are displayed and crafted and created lovingly. That inspires me even more. To get out of the slump, to get on with my life, to remember what makes me happy, and what makes me feel warm inside. What do you do when you’re tiring to get over that hump?
